Powered by MIT Venture Mentoring Service (MIT VMS) and based on its 16-year proven methodology of team mentoring, Confideo Venture Mentoring (Confideo VM) supports innovation and entrepreneurial activity in Lebanon by matching both prospective and experienced entrepreneurs with skilled volunteer mentors to provide them with day-to-day professional advice.
Confideo VM mentors are selected for their experienced in areas relevant to the needs of entrepreneurs and for their enthusiasm for the program. Mentors are required to subscribe, in writing, to a Statement of Principles that govern their behavior, outline their responsibilities, guard against conflicts of interest, and control financial involvement with the entrepreneurs and their ventures. Relationships between mentors and entrepreneurs are formed based on the needs of the entrepreneur and the interests of available mentors.
Confideo VM assistance is given across a broad range of business activity, including concept development, team formation, incorporation, initial operations, access to funding, marketing, intellectual property law, finance, human resources, and beyond.
The road to becoming an entrepreneur is often challenging. Through hands-on mentoring, Confideo VM entrepreneurs learn how to perfect their products and services, identify markets, build business organizations, and seek funding. Whatever their stage of development, all ideas/businesses are welcome.
Relationships between mentors and potential entrepreneurs are established on the basis of each entrepreneur's needs and preferences, and the interests of the available mentors. Entrepreneurs are assured impartial and unbiased advice by a code of ethics to which all mentors must adhere.
Team mentoring offers a unique opportunity to “coach” the leader of the venture, and to selectively lend their wealth of contacts and experiences. Success is not only defined by starting a profitable company, but in the learning experience that mentees can receive from their mentor team.

Our mentors are an elite group of professionals carefully selected based on their expertise in business formation and operations, and for their skills as advisors as well as their desire and ability to give back. Mentors’ careers represent a wide range of experience, such as founders, CEOs, chief technical officers, or executives of companies.
These mentors bring a wealth of entrepreneurial experience and contacts across a broad range of industries and markets. Mentors participate in Confideo VM for many reasons including the intellectual appeal of this work and the collegial team approach Confideo VM uses to address each entrepreneur’s needs. Participants are assured impartial and unbiased advice by a code of ethics to which all mentors must adhere. Confide VM has attracted a dynamic group of volunteer mentors who give their time so that others may succeed.
